
The Nigeria Youth Assembly (NYA) has conferred the prestigious title of Patron upon Dr. Yakubu Adamu in recognition of his significant contributions to youth development and governance. Receiving the award on behalf of Dr. Adamu was Shehu Adamu Gilas, the Acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, who represented the Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development of Bauchi. The event was led by the Rt Hon Sani Danaudi, who headed the delegation from the Youth Assembly.

The proposed legislation seeks to ban the controversial practice of “Bola Jari,” a move aimed at curbing its negative effects on the youth in the state.
