Taraba State governor Agbu Kefas has assured residents that his administration will work hard to improve their lives, saying he will “do his best to make them smile” despite limited resources.

Kefas made the appeal during a meeting with people of Taraba Central Zone and loyalists of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Federal Polytechnic in Bali on Wednesday.

The district covers Kurmi, Gassol, Gasaka, Sardauna and Bali local government areas.

Speaking at the gathering, the governor acknowledged the challenges facing the people, particularly in the central senatorial district, and promised to tackle them.

“I want you to be patient with the government. I know you have many problems, but the resources coming to the state are limited,” Kefas said.

He explained that once the rainy season ends, the government would roll out construction projects and other critical initiatives to address the needs of the people.

“But we will do our best to make you smile, especially in the areas of improved electricity, healthcare, roads and other basic needs,” the governor assured.
