Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.

Mbah made the announcement on Tuesday during a press conference held in Enugu, the state capital.

He said his decision was guided by a desire to serve the people of Enugu more effectively and to align with the APC’s development vision.

“Today, after a long period of reflection, we have decided to leave the PDP and join the APC,” Mbah said.

The governor expressed confidence that the APC platform would offer greater opportunities for collaboration and growth, reaffirming his commitment to advancing the state’s interests.
