The Nigerian Air Force has opened online registration for the Airmen and Airwomen Basic Military Training Course 46 for 2025. This gives interested Nigerians a chance to join the service.

In a statement signed by Air Vice Marshal A.H. Bakari on behalf of the Chief of the Air Staff, the Air Force said the application is free and will be open from October 14 to November 25, 2025. All applications must be submitted through the official portal at www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng. Applicants are advised to read all instructions carefully before completing the form.

After submitting their application, candidates must print the acknowledgment form, parent or guardian consent form, and local government attestation form. The attestation form must be signed by a senior military officer, a senior police officer, a local government chairman or secretary, or a magistrate from the applicant’s state. The signatory must attach a passport photograph and a valid means of identification such as a national ID card, driver’s licence or international passport. The Air Force warned that invalid applications will not be processed and all information must be accurate.

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens and meet medical, physical and psychological fitness standards. Male applicants must not be shorter than 1.66 meters and female applicants must not be shorter than 1.63 meters.

For non trades applicants, the age limit is between 18 and 22 years. They must have at least five credits including Mathematics and English in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB or NBAIS, and present their secondary school testimonial.

For trades applicants, the age limit is between 18 and 27 years. They must possess a National Diploma or NCE with at least a lower credit and the same five credit minimum, hold a trade test certificate and a valid driver’s licence for driving roles. Sports applicants must provide certificates or medals as proof of professional experience. All applicants must have no criminal record.

The date for the zonal aptitude test will be announced later on the recruitment portal. Only those who pass the test will be invited for the final selection interview.

The Air Force reminded the public that the entire recruitment process is free and urged applicants to avoid fraudsters.
