Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening security collaboration with the Nigerian Army, emphasizing the need for sustained efforts in combating crime and insurgency.

During a strategic visit to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, Governor Kefas commended the troops for their unwavering dedication to securing Taraba State.

He acknowledged their sacrifices in safeguarding lives and property, assuring them of his government’s continued support in ensuring peace and stability.

In response, Lt. Gen. Oluyede reiterated the Army’s commitment to fighting crime and insurgency, not only in Taraba but across the nation.

He pledged ongoing military support to bolster security efforts in the state, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the military and state governments in tackling security challenges.

Taraba State, like many parts of Nigeria, has faced security threats, including banditry and insurgency. However, with strengthened military cooperation and strategic governance, stakeholders believe a safer and more prosperous future is within reach.

This renewed alliance between the Taraba State Government and the Nigerian Army signals a proactive approach to addressing security concerns, ensuring that residents can live and work in peace.
