Management consulting firm, Sydani Group, says it has vaccinated 238,158 individuals against HPV, Mpox, polio, and other diseases between January and June 2025.

The firm disclosed this during a media roundtable in Abuja on Tuesday to mark its seventh anniversary.

Sydani, which works in health system strengthening, agriculture, education, and socio-economic development, said it has also developed several knowledge products and supported research projects, with 30 articles published in high-impact journals in less than two years.

Highlighting its intervention in Niger State, the organisation said it targeted the high burden of zero-dose children under the Strengthening Routine Immunisation in Consequential Areas project.

According to the report, Sydani vaccinated 13,423 under-five children across four local government areas (LGAs) and 18,390 in six LGAs, while also improving reporting in 123 health facilities.

On disease surveillance, the firm said it reactivated epidemic preparedness committees and revitalised the early warning, alert and response system. It added that over 4,000 newborns were line-listed to aid micro planning and early enrolment in routine immunisation.

The initiative also surpassed targets by vaccinating 6,757 zero-dose children in four LGAs and 13,326 across six LGAs, exceeding project goals by 61.5% and 54.6% respectively.
