Three Nigerian students  Nafisa Abdullahi, Rukaiya Fema, and Khadija Kalli —have been awarded fully-funded scholarships by the Atiku Abubakar Foundation after excelling at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals, an international academic competition featuring contestants from 69 countries.

The Foundation praised the girls’ performance as a demonstration of brilliance and potential, especially highlighting 17-year-old Nafisa Abdullahi for her exceptional English language skills and critical thinking.

A letter signed by Prof. Ahmadu Shehu, Acting Secretary of the Foundation, confirmed the scholarship would cover both the remainder of their secondary education and university studies at institutions of their choice.

“This achievement reflects the limitless potential of young people, regardless of background,” the Foundation noted, reaffirming its commitment to promoting quality education, particularly for girls.

President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar have also congratulated the students on their global victory.
