Yet, amidst this fluid landscape, certain individuals stand as beacons of integrity and steadfastness. One such figure is Rt. Honourable Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas, a man whose political journey is as compelling as it is instructive.
The political landscape of Ganye, Jada, Toungo and Mayo-Belwa constituency is at a crossroads as 2027 approaches. Amid rising ambitions, betrayals, and shifting alliances, one name stands tall—Rt. Honourable Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas. A man of integrity, competence, and vision, Namdas has consistently proven that leadership is about service, not self-interest. Pursuing higher education, he earned a B.Sc in Sociology from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the Nigeria Institute of Journalism in 1998. Namdas’s professional journey commenced in the media industry, where he served as a State Correspondent for the Nigerian Daily Times. His journalistic acumen and dedication led to his appointment as Chief Press Secretary to Governor Boni Haruna of Adamawa State, a role he held from 1999 to 2007. This position not only honed his skills in public communication but also provided him with an intimate understanding of governance and public administration.
Transitioning into partisan politics, Namdas became the Director General of the Atiku Support Group, a significant political campaign platform founded by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. In 2015, Namdas was elected to the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives, representing the Jada/Ganye/Mayo Belwa/Toungo Federal Constituency of Adamawa State. Namdas’s tenure in the House of Representatives was distinguished by a series of empowerment initiatives aimed at uplifting his constituents. Recognizing the agrarian nature of Adamawa State, he distributed fertilizers and farming implements to local farmers, enhancing agricultural productivity and food security. Additionally, he facilitated the recruitment of numerous constituents into the Armed Forces and other federal establishments, providing employment opportunities and fostering national integration.

Items such as cars, motorbikes, tricycles, grinding machines, sewing machines, generators, barbing kits, and hair dryers were provided to empower individuals economically.
