In a night that will be etched into football history, Paris Saint-Germain delivered a stunning performance to demolish Inter Milan 5–0 in the UEFA Champions League final in Munich, sealing their first-ever European crown in emphatic fashion.

The atmosphere ahead of the clash between France’s PSG and Italy’s Inter Milan was electric, with fans across the globe bracing for a tightly contested encounter. Instead, they witnessed one of the most one-sided finals in the competition’s history.

PSG’s teenage prodigy Desire Doue was at the heart of it all, orchestrating the destruction with flair and precision. The breakthrough came in the 12th minute when Doue set up Moroccan full-back Achraf Hakimi to slot home the opener. Just eight minutes later, Doue got on the scoresheet himself, converting a clever assist from Ousmane Dembele.

By halftime, Inter looked shell-shocked and out of ideas. PSG, however, weren’t done. The French side resumed their assault in the second half, with Doue bagging a second goal, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Mayulu added their names to the scoresheet to complete the five-goal masterclass.

This landmark victory not only brought PSG their long-awaited Champions League title, but also completed a historic treble under manager Luis Enrique, who previously achieved the same feat with FC Barcelona in 2015. An emotional tifo unfurled by PSG supporters paid tribute to Enrique’s late daughter, marking a deeply personal moment in a night of triumph.

The win places PSG firmly among Europe’s footballing elite and fuels momentum behind Dembele’s potential run for the Ballon d’Or, with the winger’s pivotal role in the final adding weight to his credentials.

As the celebrations echoed across Munich and Paris, one thing became clear: a new era has dawned for PSG—and Europe has a new champion.
