Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has commiserated with the Musdafa Royal Family of the Fombina Kingdom following the passing of Ahmed Aliyu Musdafa, former Controller General of the Nigeria Customs Service.

The Governor described the news of Ahmed Musdafa’s death as “shocking,” praising him as a dedicated and diligent officer whose service to the nation left an enduring mark.

While condoling with the Lamido of Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, elder brother of the deceased, Governor Fintiri urged the royal family to take solace in the fact that the late Ahmed lived a long, fulfilled, and accomplished life as a public servant and community leader.

“Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. His exemplary service, unwavering commitment to duty, and outstanding contributions to the nation will be remembered and cherished by all,” Governor Fintiri said.

He added that Alhaji Ahmed Musdafa’s legacy will live on through his children and his impactful record of selfless service. The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljannah.
