Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona FC have officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian international Gift Orban on a season-long loan deal from German Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim.

The 22-year-old striker, widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s emerging attacking talents, will spend the 2025/26 campaign with the Verona-based outfit as they look to strengthen their frontline ahead of the new season.

Orban, who joined Hoffenheim earlier this year, is known for his explosive pace, sharp finishing, and ability to score from range. Despite limited opportunities in the Bundesliga, his potential has attracted the attention of several European clubs, with Hellas Verona winning the race for his signature.

Speaking on the transfer, a club statement read:
“Hellas Verona FC are delighted to welcome Gift Orban to the Gialloblù family. We believe his qualities will add depth and firepower to our attack this season.”

Orban has represented Nigeria at international level and is expected to bring both flair and physicality to Verona’s forward line. His arrival comes as part of the club’s ambition to secure a strong campaign in Serie A and push further up the league table.
