The All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over his comments on hunger and insecurity in Nigeria, describing them as reckless and a veiled call for revolution.

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC accused Atiku of attempting to undermine national stability while ignoring his role in the failures of the past.

“Atiku’s remarks, cloaked as critique of President Tinubu’s policies, amount to tacit instigation of a revolution,” Morka said, adding that the PDP had “squandered massive oil revenues and institutionalized corruption” during its 16 years in power.

The party defended Tinubu’s administration, citing signs of economic recovery, and urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support. It warned opposition figures against statements capable of inciting unrest, stressing that “instigating anarchy is not legitimate opposition politics.
