According to the CVR State Pre-Registration Report, Lagos State recorded the highest number of pre-registrations with 222,205 entries, representing 16.1 percent of the national total. Police spokesman SP Tochukwu Ikenga said in a statement on Monday that the suspect, Chidi Nwoye, 24, was intercepted in the early hours of August 22 along Minaj Road, Obosi, by operatives attached to the Isiowulu Police Division working with local vigilantes.
