A political group in Kogi State has declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commending his leadership style and reform agenda, which they described as crucial to Nigeria’s economic recovery and national development.

The Kogi West FGYB Legacy Group made the declaration after a strategic meeting of stakeholders from the seven Local Government Areas of Kogi West Senatorial District, held in Kabba, Kogi State.

In a communiqué signed by Kingsley Olorunfemi Fanwo (Chairman), Tanko Mohammed (Secretary), and Shaibu Ipinmisho (Member), the group lauded Tinubu’s bold economic reforms, energy sector interventions, and nationwide infrastructural projects.

“The people of Kogi West Senatorial District are direct beneficiaries of President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda. His courageous economic reforms and investment in critical infrastructure have rekindled trust in government and renewed hope among Nigerians,” the communiqué stated.

The group pledged to support Tinubu’s second-term ambition, vowing to deliver over 90 percent of votes from the district in future elections. They also highlighted improvements in electricity supply, road infrastructure, and renewed federal attention to previously neglected regions as evidence of the administration’s impact.

Traditional rulers, community leaders, and citizens were urged to support government policies and promote peace at the grassroots.

The meeting was attended by key political figures, including the Kogi APC Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello; state commissioners; federal lawmakers; local government chairmen; and other prominent stakeholders. Bello described Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda as a comprehensive framework for national rebirth.
