Professor Chris Kwaja is a son of the Plateau and global citizen whose mind has travelled the world in search of answers to the very problems our communities face today.

As a Professor of International Relations and Strategic Studies at the Centre for Peace and Security Studies, Modibbo Adama University, Yola, his voice has echoed in some of the most respected global policy rooms. From Accra to Washington, Dakar to Geneva, Addis Ababa to Abidjan where the future of peace, security, democracy, and development in Africa is debated and shaped.

For over two decades he has sat among global experts at conferences and strategic dialogues organized by institutions such as the United States Institute of Peace, the African Development Bank, SIPRI, ECOWAS partners, and international democracy forums, discussing the very issues that affect our people: conflict, farmer–herder tensions, terrorism, youth empowerment, governance, and sustainable development.

But through all these global engagements, his heart has remained firmly rooted in Plateau North, thinking, researching, and dreaming about how peace can truly take root and how prosperity can reach every home.

In societies that thrive across the world, it is minds like his who are tested globally yet devoted locally that are trusted with legislative leadership because they bring wisdom, networks, and solutions that transform communities.

Plateau North now stands before a moment of destiny: to choose noise or knowledge, routine politics or visionary leadership.

The choice is ours and for me and my family we are supporting Professor Chris Kwaja as the next Senator of Plateau North because electing him is embracing a future where the wisdom gathered from the world is brought home to heal divisions, strengthen security, empower our youth, and build the peaceful and prosperous Plateau our fathers dreamed of.

The Plateau North of our dream is achievable, we shall have it in Professor Chris Kwaja because he believes in the people and also believe our community will be better if we stand together, for we are GREATER TOGETHER!
