Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas, PhD, has presented a cash gift of ₦500,000 to Ms. Stella Simeon, an outstanding 18-year-old student from Ganye, Adamawa State, in recognition of her exceptional academic performance.

Stella distinguished herself in this year’s West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examinations with seven distinctions and two B’s. She had earlier scored 289 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB.

The presentation took place in the presence of Stella’s parents. Namdas commended her for her academic excellence and urged the family to use the funds strictly for her university education once she secures admission.

“This is an investment in your future. I encourage you to remain focused and use this opportunity to inspire others in our community,” Namdas said.

Stella has applied to study Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Maiduguri or Muhammadu Buhari University, Maiduguri, and is awaiting admission.

Her achievement has been widely celebrated in Ganye, with many describing her as a role model for young people in the area.
