The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission (CSC) has released the outcome of its screening process for the ongoing employment exercise into the state’s civil service, marking a critical milestone in the government’s drive to strengthen the public sector workforce.
Out of a total of 96,102 applications received, 52,003 candidates have been deemed eligible to proceed to the next phase of the recruitment process, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday by the Commission.
The CSC cited several reasons for the disqualification of applicants, which include:
- Possession of NCE qualifications not included in the initial requirements
- Mismatched fields of study and job applications
- Age limit violations
- Incorrect or incomplete document uploads
- Non-indigene status
- Applicants already employed in local government councils
The Commission emphasized that the screening process adhered strictly to due process and merit-based principles.
“We urge all applicants to ensure they possess the requisite documents and qualifications to avoid disqualification,” the statement added.
The 52,003 shortlisted candidates are expected to comply with all forthcoming guidelines that will be issued by the Commission to ensure a seamless transition into the next stage of the recruitment exercise.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s administration has reiterated its commitment to transparency and fairness in the recruitment process, assuring citizens that the employment drive will strengthen state institutions and provide opportunities for qualified indigenes.
