Iran has threatened a strong military response after U.S. airstrikes hit key nuclear facilities in Fordo, Isfahan, and Natanz. The strikes, confirmed by former President Donald Trump, used bunker-busting bombs and came as the Iran-Israel conflict entered its 11th day.

The Israeli military said it also targeted missile bases and airfields across Iran, claiming to have destroyed fighter jets and helicopters. Iran’s military warned the U.S. of “serious and unpredictable” consequences, calling the strikes an escalation.

Oil prices surged over 4% on Monday as global markets reacted. China and Oman called for restraint, while European powers urged Iran to avoid further destabilizing actions.

Iran’s Supreme Leader called the strikes “a big mistake,” while President Pezeshkian accused Washington of supporting Israel’s war campaign. Despite U.S. claims it doesn’t seek regime change, Trump hinted otherwise in a social media post.

Over 400 Iranians and 24 Israelis have been killed so far, officials say. At the UN, the IAEA condemned attacks on nuclear sites, and Russia, China, and Pakistan proposed a ceasefire resolution.
