EFCC Chairman, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has called on Nigerian youths to take ownership of the fight against internet fraud to protect the nation’s financial system and future.
Represented by Assistant Commander Hauwa Garba Ringim at a security summit in Osogbo, Olukoyede said youth involvement in cybercrime harms Nigeria’s image and endangers their own futures.
He announced EFCC’s plan to make convicted fraudsters publicly share their stories as a deterrent.
Other speakers, including NYCN President Solomon Adodo and Osun State security adviser Samuel Oludare, urged youths to engage in productive activities and embrace positive change.
