The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has cautioned the public against a fake online advertisement claiming that Aviation Security personnel are being recruited through a link tied to the agency.

FAAN issued the warning in a statement on Thursday signed by its Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Henry Agbebire. He described the viral notice as fake and completely unrelated to the authority.

The agency said it does not have any AVSEC recruitment exercise in progress and urged Nigerians not to click the link or submit personal information to unknown platforms.

FAAN also asked the public to stay alert, report suspicious websites, and rely only on its verified communication channels for authentic updates on job opportunities or any official activity.
