    A shining example of academic excellence and community service, Adedeji Mulikat Titilayo has emerged as one of the top graduates from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), with a first-class degree in Nursing Science. She graduated with an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.55 from the Faculty of Health Sciences.

    Titilayo, now a registered nurse (RN), registered midwife (RM), and registered public health nurse (RPHN), has not only distinguished herself academically but has also contributed significantly to healthcare advocacy and outreach.

    During her time at LAUTECH, she served as a senator in the National Association of Nigerian Nursing Students (NUNSA), at the national level — a testament to her leadership and commitment to student representation in the healthcare sector.

    Her passion for maternal and public health was further demonstrated through her volunteer work with Gynix Afrika’s maternal health outreach, for which she received an award in recognition of her dedication and impact. She was also honoured with a certificate of participation by the Youth Health Action Network (YOHAN Africa), a research-based initiative focused on youth health development across the continent.

    Peers and mentors have described Titilayo as a driven, service-oriented young professional who blends clinical competence with a passion for grassroots healthcare solutions.

    As she transitions into her professional journey, many believe Titilayo is poised to make significant contributions to Nigeria’s health system — particularly in maternal, child, and public health care delivery.
