    By Moses Amos

The Flamingos put up a determined fight but ultimately fell 3-1 to a composed home side that played much of the game in second gear. Despite their resilience, the visitors could not contain the attacking prowess of Harmony Chidi, who netted a brace, and Shakirat Moshood, who added a goal to seal the victory.

The match started with the home team controlling possession and dictating the tempo, but the Flamingos remained competitive, showing flashes of brilliance in attack. However, Chidi’s clinical finishing put the hosts ahead, and though the Flamingos responded with a goal of their own, Moshood’s strike ensured there would be no comeback.

While the scoreline favored the hosts, the Flamingos’ performance was commendable, and they will look to build on their positives in future fixtures.
