Businessman and philanthropist Prince Olatunji Olusoji has urged Nigerians to remain patient with the current administration’s economic reforms, expressing confidence in their long-term benefits.

Speaking to journalists in Kabba, Kogi State, Prince Olatunji praised President Bola Tinubu’s policy moves — including the removal of fuel subsidy and floating of the Naira — as bold steps needed to curb corruption and spur growth.

“These decisions are tough but necessary. Our children and grandchildren will enjoy the rewards,” he said.

Prince Olatunji also lauded Kogi State Governor Ahmed Ododo, commending his humility and peaceful ties with his predecessor. He urged the governor to stay focused on improving the lives of the people.

Highlighting his philanthropic drive, he said, “I want my name to unlock doors for generations.”

On political ambitions, the Delta-born prince confirmed his background in politics and said he is ready to serve if called upon. “Politics should be about service to humanity,” he stated.

A graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Benin, Prince Olatunji also holds qualifications from Oxford, Harvard, and the London School of Politics. He runs successful businesses across oil and gas, marine, aviation, logistics, and security consultancy.
